LEGAL

Terms of Use

Last updated: 20 October 2026

These Terms govern your use of the website and platform operated by Streamline Marketing AS (org.nr. 935 880 742). Please read them carefully. They are legally binding.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website and services operated by Streamline Marketing AS ("Streamline", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not accept these Terms in full, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Streamline Marketing AS (org.nr. 935 880 742), registered in Norway. These Terms apply to all users of the platform, including content creators and brands.

2. Description of the Service

Streamline operates a technology platform that connects brands, artists, record labels, and event organizers ("Brands") with independent content creators ("Creators") to produce and distribute user-generated content ("UGC") across social media platforms. Services include campaign management, quality assessment, real-time analytics, and payment processing across music promotion, product campaigns, and event marketing verticals.

3. Eligibility and User Accounts

To use the Service, you must be at least 15 years of age. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. Streamline reserves the right to verify your identity and age at any time. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity conducted under your account. You must notify Streamline immediately at [email protected] upon any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Creator Status and Tax Obligations — For Creators

Creators on the Streamline platform are engaged as independent freelancers and are not employees of Streamline. Notwithstanding this, Streamline is required under Norwegian tax law to withhold advance tax (forskuddstrekk) from payments made to Creators and to pay employer's national insurance contributions (arbeidsgiveravgift) on such payments. To receive payment, Creators must submit a valid tax deduction card (skattekort) to Streamline prior to their first assignment. Failure to submit a valid skattekort will result in withholding at the highest standard rate set by Skatteetaten. Creators are solely responsible for ensuring their skattekort remains current and accurate.

5. Campaign Obligations and Brief Compliance — For Creators

By accepting a campaign assignment, you agree to produce content strictly in accordance with the campaign brief provided. The brief constitutes the binding specification for the assignment. Full payment is conditional on all brief requirements being met. Streamline reserves the right to withhold or reduce payment where you have failed to follow the brief, delivered content of materially lower quality or effort than reasonably expected, or produced content that does not comply with these Terms. Double promotion is not permitted. Content produced for an assignment through Streamline must only promote what is expressly included in the campaign. The same video or post must not also promote other businesses, products, services, events or songs, including the creator’s own business, without Streamline’s prior written approval. This also applies to the post caption, on-screen text, speech, tags, discount codes and references to links in the profile bio. Incidentally visible logos, ordinary props and neutral credits do not by themselves constitute double promotion. Content that violates this rule will be rejected. The decision may be appealed under section 12. This provision applies from 20 October 2026.

6. Posting Window and Timing — For Creators

Each assignment specifies a posting window within which content must be published on the designated platform. If you publish content outside the agreed posting window, Streamline may deduct up to 50% of the agreed fee for that assignment. Repeated failure to post within the assigned window is grounds for account suspension or termination under Section 20.

7. Content Quality and Approval — For Creators

All content submitted through the Streamline platform is subject to quality assessment prior to approval and payment. Streamline's quality assessment process evaluates submissions against the campaign brief and platform standards. Streamline reserves the right to reject content that does not meet the required standard. Rejected content must be revised and resubmitted within the timeframe specified in the assignment; otherwise payment may be withheld in full. Quality assessment decisions are subject to the internal dispute process set out in Section 12.

8. Sponsored Content Disclosure — For Creators

All content produced through Streamline constitutes paid advertising. You are solely responsible for ensuring that every post is clearly labeled as advertising in compliance with the Norwegian Marketing Act (markedsføringsloven) and the guidelines of the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet). The disclosure must: (a) appear at the very beginning of the post or caption — before any 'read more' truncation — so it is visible without any action from the viewer; (b) use plain, unambiguous language such as 'Annonse', 'Reklame', or 'Paid partnership with [brand]' — not hashtags alone, emojis, or vague expressions; (c) be at least as prominent as the rest of the caption text, and not buried among hashtags or at the end of a long description; and (d) be supplemented by platform-native disclosure tools where available, such as the 'Branded Content' feature on TikTok and Instagram. Disclosure that does not meet these requirements is considered insufficient regardless of intent. Absent or insufficient labeling constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in withholding of payment and/or account termination.

9. Prohibited Content — For Creators

You must not produce, submit, or publish content that: (a) is unlawful under Norwegian law or the law of the jurisdiction in which it is published; (b) depicts or facilitates any illegal act, including filming while operating a motor vehicle, trespassing, or use of controlled substances; (c) contains hate speech, incitement to violence, or material that is discriminatory on grounds of race, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or national origin; (d) contains sexually explicit or adult material; (e) depicts or exploits minors in any inappropriate manner; (f) violates the community guidelines of the platform on which it is published, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or Spotify — content removed by a platform for guideline violations will not be paid; or (g) is generated using artificial intelligence, automated content tools, or any method intended to circumvent Streamline's quality assessment process. Content violating (a)–(e) may result in immediate account termination and referral to relevant authorities in addition to forfeiture of payment.

10. Self-Produced Content, Content Ownership and License — For Creators

You retain ownership of all content you create. As the contractor/creator, you are required to produce the content yourself unless Streamline has approved otherwise in writing in advance. You may not submit content that is stolen, copied, plagiarized, sourced from third parties, or that you do not have the necessary rights to use. By submitting content through the Streamline platform, you grant Streamline and the relevant Brand a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and promote your content in connection with the campaign for which it was produced, and for archival and reporting purposes for 24 months following campaign completion. This license does not transfer ownership. You warrant that you own all rights to the content you submit, that you produced the content yourself, and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights. If content that has been approved or paid out is later found to be stolen, copied, plagiarized, infringing, or otherwise improperly obtained, Streamline may withhold pending or future payments, set off amounts against any sums Streamline owes you, and invoice or reclaim any incorrectly paid amounts connected to that content. Streamline's approval of content does not waive these rights if the breach is discovered later.

11. Payment Terms and Deductions — For Creators

Payment is processed following approval of content through Streamline's quality assessment process. Streamline will process approved payments within 7 business days of approval. Payments are subject to deductions for: posting outside the agreed window, up to 50% (Section 6); content that partially meets the brief, as determined by Streamline's quality assessment (Section 7); content that breaches the self-production, ownership, or rights requirements (Section 10); and mandatory tax withholding (forskuddstrekk) under Norwegian law. No payment is made for content rejected under Sections 7 or 9, or for content that breaches Section 10 even if the breach is discovered after approval. All payments are made in Norwegian kroner (NOK) unless otherwise agreed in writing.

12. Disputes and Appeals — For Creators

To dispute a payment deduction, rejection, or quality assessment decision, you must submit a written dispute to Streamline within 14 calendar days of receiving the decision. Disputes must be sent to [email protected] with the subject line 'Dispute — [Assignment ID]'. Streamline will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and issue a final decision within 7 business days of acknowledgment. Streamline's decision following internal review is final and binding, without prejudice to your right to pursue remedies through Norwegian courts under Section 25.

13. Campaign Budget and Payment Terms — For Brands

Brands must commit a campaign budget at the time of campaign creation. The committed budget is held by Streamline and allocated to Creators upon content approval. Streamline's platform fee is deducted from the campaign budget as specified in the applicable order form or agreement. The platform fee and campaign budget are due in advance of campaign launch unless otherwise agreed in writing. All amounts are in Norwegian kroner (NOK) unless otherwise stated.

14. Campaign Cancellation Policy — For Brands

Brands may cancel a campaign at any time by providing written notice to Streamline. Upon cancellation: (a) content that has been produced or for which a Creator has been booked is non-refundable — the Brand remains liable for full payment for all such content; and (b) unused budget — funds not yet allocated to produced or booked content — will be refunded within 14 business days of the cancellation notice. Streamline will notify all affected Creators and ensure payment obligations for produced or booked content are fulfilled from the Brand's committed budget.

15. Brief Quality and Legal Compliance — For Brands

Brands are solely responsible for ensuring all campaign briefs are lawful, accurate, and do not require Creators to produce content that violates applicable law, platform guidelines, or these Terms. Brands warrant that all brief content complies with Norwegian law, including the Norwegian Marketing Act (markedsføringsloven), and applicable advertising standards. Streamline and Creators acting in good faith on a facially compliant brief bear no liability for illegality originating in the brief. Brands agree to indemnify and hold harmless Streamline and all affected Creators against any losses, claims, fines, or regulatory penalties arising from a non-compliant brief.

16. Performance Data and Analytics — For Brands

All campaign performance data, analytics, and reporting generated through the Streamline platform is owned by Streamline. Streamline grants Brands a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use their own campaign data for internal business purposes during and after their campaign. Brands may not sell, sublicense, or transfer campaign data to any third party. Streamline may use aggregated and anonymized data across campaigns for platform development and analytics purposes.

17. Confidentiality — For Brands

Brands agree to keep confidential all non-public information disclosed by Streamline in connection with the Service, including platform technology, pricing, methodology, creator network details, and business processes ("Confidential Information"). Brands may not disclose Confidential Information to any third party without Streamline's prior written consent. This obligation survives termination for 2 years. Streamline may reference the Brand publicly as a client, including in marketing materials and case studies, unless the Brand has notified Streamline in writing that it does not consent to such reference.

18. Intellectual Property

The Streamline platform, including its software, design, trademarks, logos, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Streamline Marketing AS and protected by Norwegian and international intellectual property law. Use of the Service does not grant you any license to Streamline's intellectual property beyond what is expressly set out in these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without Streamline's prior written consent.

19. Prohibited Conduct

All users are prohibited from: using the platform for fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading purposes; attempting to manipulate, circumvent, or exploit Streamline's quality assessment, payment, or matching systems; accessing another user's account without authorization; scraping, harvesting, or systematically extracting data from the platform without consent; using the platform to promote content or services that violate applicable law; introducing malware, viruses, or harmful code into the platform; or engaging in conduct that disrupts or degrades platform performance.

20. Termination and Suspension

Streamline may terminate or suspend your account with 14 calendar days' written notice. Streamline may terminate or suspend your account immediately and without notice if you: (a) engage in intentional fraud or attempt to claim payment for content you did not produce or that does not meet the brief; (b) submit content generated by artificial intelligence or automated tools to circumvent quality assessment; (c) materially or repeatedly fail to comply with campaign briefs; (d) publish content prohibited under Section 9; or (e) commit any other material breach of these Terms. Upon immediate termination for cause, all pending payments for content that triggered termination are forfeited. Pending payments for previously approved content are unaffected unless the content breaches Section 10 or another provision of these Terms. Termination does not limit Streamline's right to reclaim payments, pursue damages, or seek other legal remedies.

21. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind. Streamline makes no warranty that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that campaign results will meet any specific performance expectation. To the fullest extent permitted by Norwegian law, Streamline's total liability to any user for claims arising under these Terms is limited to the total fees paid by or to that user in the 3 months preceding the claim. Streamline is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity.

22. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Streamline Marketing AS and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) content you produce, submit, or publish through the platform; (c) your breach of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right. This obligation is in addition to, and does not limit, any other liability you may have to Streamline.

23. Force Majeure

Streamline is not liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, civil unrest, failure of telecommunications infrastructure, cyberattacks, or outages on third-party platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or Spotify.

24. Changes to Terms

Streamline reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, Streamline will provide at least 30 calendar days' notice via the email address associated with your account or through a prominent notice on the platform. Non-material changes take effect upon publication. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not accept the revised Terms, you must discontinue use of the Service.

25. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any dispute arising from these Terms that cannot be resolved through Streamline's internal dispute process is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Oslo District Court (Oslo tingrett). The Norwegian language version of these Terms is the authoritative and legally binding version. In the event of any conflict between language versions, the Norwegian text prevails.

26. Privacy

Streamline processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

27. Paid Promotion Disclosure

Creators participating in paid campaigns through Streamline must disclose the commercial nature of their content exclusively by enabling the platform's built-in paid promotion feature (e.g., the 'Paid partnership' label) and by stating the collaboration in the content's description. Any other form of public disclosure of compensation — including but not limited to comments, replies to comments, pinned comments, direct messages to followers, or other public statements revealing amounts, payment, or that the assignment is paid — is strictly prohibited. It is the Creator's sole responsibility to moderate the comment section on their content and ensure that comments from other creators or third parties disclosing that the content is a paid promotion are removed without undue delay. If a Creator breaches this provision, or fails to remove such comments, Streamline reserves the right to withhold, delay, or reclaim all or part of the compensation associated with the relevant campaign.

28. Near-Duplicate Videos

Streamline does not accept near-duplicate videos. This includes videos where the same person does the same thing in the same place, videos where two or more people film the same person doing the same thing, and cases where two submissions provide the same or near-identical video. Videos may still be accepted when they clearly differ from each other, for example because they are filmed in another place, performed differently, filmed from a new angle, show a new action, use clearly different edits, or contain other independent creative content. Streamline has the final right to decide whether a video is a duplicate. This assessment may be automated by a fair system that evaluates all videos according to the same criteria. Creators may still appeal a decision under the appeal process in these Terms.
